THE faux MAGAZINE was founded on a simple but urgent belief — animals are not ours to wear.

For decades, both the fur and leather industries have treated animals as materials rather than living beings. Animals are bred, confined and killed so their fur can become a coat or their skin can become leather.

We believe luxury can exist without an animal paying the price.

Fashion can still be bold. It can still be beautiful, tactile and extraordinary. But the future of luxury should not depend on taking fur, skin or life from an animal.

This is not about giving up fashion. It’s about creating a better version of it.

At THE faux MAGAZINE, our purpose is to create alternatives to both animal fur and animal leather without compromising the feeling, expression or experience of luxury.

Every faux fur coat and every alternative leather piece we create represents the same idea:

You can love the look without harming the animal.

But simply avoiding animal materials isn't enough for us. We want the animals behind our inspiration to benefit from what we create.

That's why our mission extends beyond our collections. We support organizations working directly with animals, sanctuaries and conservation initiatives. Where possible, designs inspired by particular animals or species are connected back to causes helping protect them.

We don't profit from animals. We want our success to help protect them.

WHY THIS IS OUR FIGHT

The problem isn't only fur.

Leather is so deeply embedded in fashion that its animal origin can almost become invisible. Jackets, bags, shoes and accessories are presented as luxury objects, while the animal behind the material is rarely part of the conversation.

We want to change that conversation.

We believe the future belongs to materials that allow creativity and luxury to evolve without relying on an animal's fur or skin.
